Overview: (Creating Documents and Presentation Slides)This hands-on course is designed to introduce students to the new features in Microsoft PowerPoint 2010. There is a host of new tools and features that are powerful. These features will make it easier to create powerful presentations, save time and be more productive. Learn to identify the components of the screen, ribbon, quick access toolbar, and customize the default settings. Also learn to create, edit, save, preview and print slides, handouts, and notes. Learn how to use simple editing techniques (copy, move, format, delete text, add graphics, use the clipboard, text alignment, tabs, and etc.). Remember: The new PowerPoint interface (Ribbon) will take some getting used to.
Prerequisite:Windows Level 1.

Overview: (Concentrates on building a multimedia slide show)Level 2 hands-on course is designed to introduce the students to the advanced features in Microsoft PowerPoint 2010. Students will learn to use the techniques that professionals use to create eye-catching, compelling presentations that inspire and persuade your audience. Also learn to use Pre-built Templates and themes, animations, sounds, movies, transitions, SmartArt graphics, narrations, package a presentation, and more.
Prerequisite:Students should be familiar with Powerpoint Level 1.
